Clubmark & Child Protection
We have achieved Sport England's Clubmark accreditation. This is awarded to clubs by the English Cricket Board when a club is able to demonstrate that it meets the ECB's criteria and standards in respect of:
A)Its playing programme.
B)Child Protection and welfare.
C)Sports equity and ethics.
'Clubmark' is an acknowledgement that we take the above seriously and that we provide a high quality welcoming environment for young participants.
Child Welfare and Child Protection means, The Club adheres to the guidelines of the following documents in respect of child welfare and child protection:
A)'Safe Hands-Welfare of young cricketers'
B)'Protecting young children in cricket'
C)'ECB Coaches Code of Conduct'
Copies of the above documents are held in the club and are available to any member on request.
